Facebook Pixel: End-to-End Integration and Segmentation Setup

The purpose of Facebook Pixel integration is to track your survey visitors so that you can market to them later based on their answers and outcomes. 

 

Step 1: Integrate Facebook Pixel

Step 2: Managing Facebook Pixel Segmentation

The following video shows you how to create audiences based on event actions setup in Bucket.io.


A. Ensure Facebook Pixel has been properly integrated with the right survey or funnel. 

You can tell whether Facebook Pixel is associated with a Discovery Survey or Segmentation Funnel because the Facebook “f” Facebook emblem will be present.

B. Create a Custom Audience in Facebook 

Once you have generated enough traffic, you can create a custom audience in the Audiences tab in Ads Manager.

1. Once you’re on the Custom Audience page, create the audience from Website Traffic. This way you will be pulling data directly from your survey that is integrated with Facebook Pixel. 


2. Based on what you inputted in Bucket.io while setting up Facebook Pixel, you can choose what aspects of the visitor information you want to use to build your audience. Title your newly created audience accordingly. 

Choose the relevant line item from the events configured in Bucket.io.

3. You can then go on to create an ad specifically for this audience.
